Please forgive me for not uploading artworks for a very long time now...to be honest i have been still very creative but in a different kind of way i have been making more so of props and also customising costumes etc.ALso i have been busy playing video games too...yeah im a gamer girl.I know i feel that i have "lost focus" on DA here of not submiting art like i always use to...but i have kind of lost interest here in DA as all the time the onlys that i tend to see on my opening page when i come here on DA all it seems to be is either anime stuff or my little pony or pornograph-ish nudes or fan made art of characters etc...and it's kind of blah blah boring really.i feel that DA has lost it's unique touch that it had back in 2005-2011 era. DA used to be about the artwork and the artist themselves but nowadays it seems like every 15 year old is into anime and just re-create that particular style or even the same goes for my little pony...seriously art is about being inspired by others but creating your own techniques and styles. And i feel, this may be blunty honest and may upset a few, but i am going to say/type it anyway some may think they can draw either hand drawings or computers drawing of the anime images but really you cant as your just taking the original style from the original creators or anime and dont get me started on copyright.
It's just boring seeing the same old same old all the time. At least with my art it is different and unique and somewhat frightening too for some (lol) but at least it is DIFFERENT! So the point that i am trying to say/type is just be YOURSELF and try to create you OWN STYLE i know it's not easy but at least just try. Also when it does come to anime i also wish they were not so "sterotypical" in the "perfect woman"...but i discuss anymore on that.So to finish this short journal off i have some advise for you all...
-Be curious when it comes to creating art.
-Listen to your heart and create!
-Dont be afraid to try new techniques and styles
-Stop copying others, instead be inspired by them.
-Think outside the box.
-Be in the correct mood when creating art.
-explore or local surroundings and use you imagination to see the unseen.
-Use other tools rather than just pen and paper or computers.
-Go to local art exhibitions and talk to others about there tastes and interests in art.
-Listen to music before you create art then when creating art make your studio/area quiet and listen to your mind and heart to guide you.
-Dont try to be someone else, just be YOU!
Many blessings to all.
